If it isn't too much trouble. Any kind is fine - I'm not overly particular. [She gives him a smile in return, her eyes growing wide as she took in the interior of the castle. She had expected it to be large - and that it was - yet... there was still the signs of it being a home. Small touches left by each resident, mixed with the overall extravagance of the space, left her almost speechless.]
[She replies half out of habit at this point. Unsure whether following him would be a breach of politeness, she opts to stay in the living space. Listening to the sounds that come from the kitchen as he makes tea, taking in the decor of the room itself. Still standing, as she hadn't been told whether they were sitting or heading elsewhere. Her gaze swept over the house with a mix of curiosity and patience.]
[The sound of the tea kettle was something familiar to her - relaxing, a noise from her home - so it brought her some amount of ease as she walked into the kitchen.]
"'Original residents'...? Were there people living here before you?" [Curiosity streaked through her. Maybe it would explain the established nature of this place. There might even be Neighbors lurking around a place this size... if she could only see them.] "Jenny is... one of your housemates?" [She inquired, not remembering the name from any past conversations.]
[She thought back to the paintings, remembering one that stood out to her. A futuristic looking city set within a glowing sunset.] Was it the city? [Something about the way he talked... his experience and the description of the Tardis, made her think that.]
In case there's any doubt, I really did just come for some tea. [And to make sure the Doctor was alright, though that part remained unspoken. She felt a bit better knowing that Jenny was here to help him remain less lonely. Speaking of which...]
Oh, from before you got here? How long have you been here, Jenny? I arrived just at the start of the Spring Plantening this year.
[Tea. Well, it wasn't as if she could dispute it considering they were obviously making tea.]
Just after Christmas right before a blizzard hit the place. Not exactly my most fun adventure that round. Feeling the cold like that was a bit off putting for me. I don't know how other species manager with it sometimes. I mean, I know the whole they wear warm clothes and such, but the amount of bundling up required feels like it's restricts movement far too much.
I think I know what you mean. The first winter after I moved to London... it felt so cold. Japan didn't get a lot of snow, where I lived, so it was quite a shock.
[She blinked curiously at the girl's use of 'species' though... A bit of an embarrassed blush accompanied her next words.]
Um... if it's not too insensitive for me to ask... are you... not-human? Like the Doctor? A-ah, but it's alright if you don't answer that. I realize it might be a difficult question.
[She bowed out of politeness then. The Doctor's question sunk in soon after, causing her gaze to refocus on the other room, where said painting hung.]
I... guess because something about it felt warm? Or familiar. The city shows there are people there, but there's also a balance with the surrounding area. At least, in the painting, that was the sense I got from it. Much like my own home.
[Well, at least Jenny didn't seem bothered by the question at all.]
Sorry. No, not human. Not quite the same as dad exactly either, but close. You could say I'm a bit like a copy of what dad is. Same DNA and all, but not exact either. It gets a bit complicated for most to understand all the details. Best comparison most understand is clone, but I'm not quite that either since I'm obviously not an exact copy.
At one point it was the shining stars of the seven systems. Because you're right, even with the dome, it's warm and inviting looking with the nature that surrounds it.

[She let out a sigh inwardly. Of course he had arrived home earlier.]
I apologize that it took me so long to get here. I realized I didn't actually have your address, so it took a while to find.
no subject
Not at all.
[He guides her inside of the castle.]
You showed up. Would you like some tea?

[The Doctor remarks like asking that is ridiculous but in a teasing sorta way. He heads to the kitchen which is outside the living space]

Do you have a favorite sort of tea, Doctor?
[She asks, mildly curious.]
no subject
[As he prepares the tea for the both of them.]

[Still, Elias had a large selection of tea at the house, so she had sampled quite a bit, learning how to steep it herself.]
I couldn't help but notice the portraits in the other room. There's so many. Are they hand made?
no subject
"Yes, Jenny said the original residents made them. One of them is mine, care to guess which one?"
She means Gallifrey, but doesn't have the name XD
[She thought back to the paintings, remembering one that stood out to her. A futuristic looking city set within a glowing sunset.] Was it the city? [Something about the way he talked... his experience and the description of the Tardis, made her think that.]

Yes and she's my daughter. That's where I'm from.

[The possibility caused some form of relief to fill her. Good, he wouldn't be entirely alone. Unless they didn't get along...]
It's very pretty - where you come from. It seems so alike and not from my own world.
I'm sorry for taking forever! DX
I thought I heard someone in here. Hello dad!
[She then glances at who's with him, giving the girl a curious look.]
Brought home a guest?
[She immediately grins not even waiting for her father introduce the girl before she's heading her way in and holding a hand out to her.]
Hello! I'm Jenny!
Re: I'm sorry for taking forever! DX
[The Doctor remarks with pressed lips. Then a sarcastic]
Did I?
(*I'm* really sorry for taking forever too! XD)
[Chise blushes a bit in embarrassment before shaking Jenny's hand.]
It's nice to meet you Jenny. I'm Chise. We were just talking about the paintings in the other room.
no subject
Pleasure to meet you, Chise. You're more then welcome here.
[She gave her dad smirk of her own. That sarcasm didn't even warrant a response from her.]
So what else were you two up to in here?
no subject
[Only because Arrakis told The Doctor about them.]
There's Gallifrey, Beach City, Althiya and China.
Oh, she just wanted to stop by for some tea.

[Even if he had been here before and disappeared and reappeared without remembering]
Jenny, Chise here likes the same paining you do of Gallifrey. Which is where I'm from.
[Even if he's not sure of that fact he did in fact live on Gallifrey but from is debate]
It was = a very beautiful as you saw.
[Which is were The Doctor rather leave it and not get into the affairs of the planet]
Why did you likie that painting so much Chise?

Oh, and blimey, here's the tea.
[The Doctor pours hot water into three mugs.]
She's a Time Lord, yes.
no subject
I... think I understand. Even so, you are still family.
[She smiled softly as she looked down at her steaming cup.]
But... what is a Time Lord? I don't think I've heard that term before...
