"'Original residents'...? Were there people living here before you?" [Curiosity streaked through her. Maybe it would explain the established nature of this place. There might even be Neighbors lurking around a place this size... if she could only see them.] "Jenny is... one of your housemates?" [She inquired, not remembering the name from any past conversations.]
[She thought back to the paintings, remembering one that stood out to her. A futuristic looking city set within a glowing sunset.] Was it the city? [Something about the way he talked... his experience and the description of the Tardis, made her think that.]
In case there's any doubt, I really did just come for some tea. [And to make sure the Doctor was alright, though that part remained unspoken. She felt a bit better knowing that Jenny was here to help him remain less lonely. Speaking of which...]
Oh, from before you got here? How long have you been here, Jenny? I arrived just at the start of the Spring Plantening this year.
[Tea. Well, it wasn't as if she could dispute it considering they were obviously making tea.]
Just after Christmas right before a blizzard hit the place. Not exactly my most fun adventure that round. Feeling the cold like that was a bit off putting for me. I don't know how other species manager with it sometimes. I mean, I know the whole they wear warm clothes and such, but the amount of bundling up required feels like it's restricts movement far too much.
I think I know what you mean. The first winter after I moved to London... it felt so cold. Japan didn't get a lot of snow, where I lived, so it was quite a shock.
[She blinked curiously at the girl's use of 'species' though... A bit of an embarrassed blush accompanied her next words.]
Um... if it's not too insensitive for me to ask... are you... not-human? Like the Doctor? A-ah, but it's alright if you don't answer that. I realize it might be a difficult question.
[She bowed out of politeness then. The Doctor's question sunk in soon after, causing her gaze to refocus on the other room, where said painting hung.]
I... guess because something about it felt warm? Or familiar. The city shows there are people there, but there's also a balance with the surrounding area. At least, in the painting, that was the sense I got from it. Much like my own home.
[Well, at least Jenny didn't seem bothered by the question at all.]
Sorry. No, not human. Not quite the same as dad exactly either, but close. You could say I'm a bit like a copy of what dad is. Same DNA and all, but not exact either. It gets a bit complicated for most to understand all the details. Best comparison most understand is clone, but I'm not quite that either since I'm obviously not an exact copy.
At one point it was the shining stars of the seven systems. Because you're right, even with the dome, it's warm and inviting looking with the nature that surrounds it.
[Chise blinked slowly for a few moments as her brain worked to process.]
"Oh... ok." [Taking a sip of tea.] "So you... control time? Or can control how it works? And you have your own language for doing so...?"
[It didn't seem that foreign of a concept to her - after all, she had been suddenly brought into a world of mages and magic, regardless of her background.]
She means Gallifrey, but doesn't have the name XD

It's very pretty - where you come from. It seems so alike and not from my own world.
I'm sorry for taking forever! DX

[She then glances at who's with him, giving the girl a curious look.]
Brought home a guest?
[She immediately grins not even waiting for her father introduce the girl before she's heading her way in and holding a hand out to her.]
Hello! I'm Jenny!

It's nice to meet you Jenny. I'm Chise. We were just talking about the paintings in the other room.

So what else were you two up to in here?

Jenny, Chise here likes the same paining you do of Gallifrey. Which is where I'm from.
[Even if he's not sure of that fact he did in fact live on Gallifrey but from is debate]
It was = a very beautiful as you saw.
[Which is were The Doctor rather leave it and not get into the affairs of the planet]
Why did you likie that painting so much Chise?
